URRR 39 wk 3 day appt and
no progress.....still a fingertip dilated, cervix still the same.
She sked an appt Mon. am for a non-stress test for baby & said we'll talk about a day for induction should baby not want to come.
Looks like I'll be one of the late July mommies.
They also did another sono b/c my fluid was low a few wks ago....fluid is fine but baby is measuring on the small side...
I personally lost 4lbs from last week...
at 36 wks baby was 6lbs, 6 oz. & today at almost 40 wks, baby was 6lbs 15 oz.

It can still happen eve if you have littel progress at your appointment! I'm proof!!! No dilation or ANYTHING happening on Thursday....baby on Tuesday night!

Hang in there Cin! The waiting is very frustrating but soooo worth it! As sick as you are of hearing this, rest up before your little one arrives because you WILL need it...TRUST me!! Let me know if there is anything you need. I can't wait to meet your little one!

Your baby doesn't sound small at all...6lbs.15oz. is basically 7 pounds which is AVERAGE. And just remember, anything can happen between now and Monday...losing weight is usually a good sign btw.

ITA!! DS was born at 39 weeks exactly and he was 6lbs, 12 oz. I wonder why she would say that is small
ETA: Losing weight is a good sign, I lost 6lbs between 38 and 39 weeks, although I was induced.

She didn't say small, she said to go from 36wks at 6lbs, 6 oz. to 39 1/2 weeks & 6 lbs., 15 oz. wasn't a big increase--that it should technically have been more.
(ETA this was the tech not the dr)

Just to give you hope...I had NO progress at any of my appointments and a week after my last check-up I arrived at the hospital 5 cm dialated just 2 hours after my water broke!
