Upset--bottle feeding a EBF baby.......
My older son did not do well with bottles----I didn't want that again, so early on we were giving bottles. That said, DH & I totally slacked this last month and now he is giving me trouble. I tried last weekend after DH gave up and he drank from the playtex drop in, but last night and this morning he wouldn't! We were planning on going out this weekend and now there is no way I can go....which I am really sad about it, its not often DH & I get out together. I'm upset with myself for not pushing the bottle more and my DH for always giving an excuse when I suggested he give him a bottle. 
Bottles I have tried:
Born Free (which he used to drink from)
Playtex drop in
Medela
Avent
Adiri
He is also teething badly and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Any suggestions?

How long were you going to be out and how well do you trust the person watching your kids? If you aren't going to be out more than 5 hours, I'd feed right before and let the babysitter figure it out. Kids ofter act differently for babysitters.

If he's teething he may like the bottle more because he can gnaw on it a bit.
I would putting the nipple in the fridge. I know that sounds nuts but if I picture having swollen glands & putting somthing cold on it, it may be soothing to him.
I'm not sure what issues your older son had with bottles, but once you do get it down it is very freeing.

My DS was bottle fed BM till about 2 months due to. Medical reasons but after that he was EBF and I was blessed with the time to never have to give him a bottle but there were many times I wanted to and he refused. We did try the cheapo gerber bottles that he drank from a few times. In the end we just ended up giving him a sippy at 5 or 6 months. Maybe you can try and make cereal with the BM and use that. Instead of a bottle???

try breastflow bottle!! it saved my life. dd wouldnt take a bottle and it was like 2 days before i had to return to work. we went through 5 different bottles.

I agree. We tried everything - even the Playtex ones everyone raves about - DS hated them all. The only bottle he would take & still takes is BreastFlow by First Years. It's at BRU & Target.
Of course, every baby is different & he may not like it, but it's worth a shot. Also I found it's best to have someone else feed him. I had my Cousin, DH & a friend all feed him. Eventually he took it with no problem. I avoided the bottle until a week before he went to daycare at 3 months old. By 4 months he was holding his own bottle.
He can easily switch from breast to bottle.

I was JUST going to recommend this! I think it's by Learning Curve. I've never used it, but a nurse recommended it to a friend of mine who was having the same problem. GL!!
ETA: My mom had this problem with my older sister when she was a baby. The ped told her to just go out all day one day and leave bottles with my dad and once she realized she had no other option, she would take it. That's exactly what happened! AND a friend of mine was having this problem, and had a big day in the city (show, dinner, etc.) planned with her husband and some friends. She went, anda left bottles, and her daughter figured it out and took them eventually. I think you should definitely go. Keep your cell phone on you on the off chance that he REFUSES to eat for HOURS and you need to get home. But know that the chances of that are VERY slim!

I think you'll be ok....babies will often take from a bottle if they realize they are DEF NOT getting "from the tap" 
If you are not around they might act differently...I had success with avent with both my babies!

I had this problem too! Its so frustrating and stressful. BUT I still went out...I had to...if not i was going to go nuts. My mom or MIL would take care of her and deal with her when she didn't want a bottle. THEN I purchased Tommee Tippee Bottles and it saved us!!! She took it right away....no issues whatsoever....and has been drinking them since.
I also tried EVERY SINGLE BRAND out there...I can open my very own BRU with all the bottles and pacifiers I have.

Have you been in the house when DH was giving the bottle? Sometimes they smell the real thing, they don't want the bottle.
If you have been home, have DH try the Tommee Tippee bottles, but you go outside. Good luck!

You can also try the Tommee Tippee bottles from BRU. I think they are buy one get one 50% off right now. I use the Medela bottles and DS does well. I've also tried Avent and TT, which was ok too. Are you giving it warm or cold? I know my DS prefers room temperature so I take it out of the fridge before he is due to eat. GL!
