It doesn't really matter. I'm meeting a colleague for dinner and we're looking for something fun. We are both foodies, so we are game for anything. I work by Rock Ctr, so I haven't been to any restaurants up there in ages.

Depends on what kind of food you want but The Penrose is fun. It's just pub food though.

A vendor just took us to a really cool sushi place up there.
It looks like a dive, but it's very well known and the sushi is creative and really good.
It's BYOB.
They just serve you individual pieces one by one- no menu.
It was different and fun.
I can't recall the name, but if you are into that I can find out.

I love East Pole. Also Le Bilboquet, Boqueria, Morini, Bella Blu, Jones Wood Foundry. All lively spots with good food.
