Update on my BP check this morning!
So i went this morning to get my BP done. It was fine, but OF COURSE there was protein in my urine. UMM HELLO ITS 8AM I havent even drank water yet! So I got sent for blood work and have to do a 24 hour urine analysis. I got my blood work done and now have the big ol bucket for my pee. I am assuming I have to start it tomorrow since I already pee'd today?
So I have to go back on Friday for another BP check. Going there to get my BP taken makes me nervous how is my BP not suppose to be elevated! OY!

I just did the 24 hour urine- it's a pain but not that bad.
What you have to do is start tomorrow, yes.
You don't use your first pee tomorrow- flush that.
Start with your SECOND pee of the day- and collect all pee from then until the next morning. When you wake up the next morning (Friday) collect your first pee only then bring it right to the lab or your Dr office (wherever you are dropping it off).
Also- you have to keep it in the fridge (Gross, I know).
Also- pee in something else- a big plastic cup etc- and pour it in the jug- makes it easier..
Good luck...I'm sure you'll be fine. Your BP is good so that is a HUGE plus!
And UM I HEAR YA on the BP checks making you nervous and hence raising your BP- hello vicious cycle!
I took my pressure at home and it was normal... Ugh so annoying!

thanks! I thought this too bc that is what the direction say, but I called my dr just in case bc she made me go RIGHt from the dr's office and made me have bloodwork done before and after the urine. She wants me to start TODAY. So 2 pees arent in there but she said that is fine? I am so confused!

I don't think it will make a huge difference that you missed 2 pees.
If your Dr is saying start now I'm sure it's fine.
They just want an overall analysis of your urine throughout the day I guess....
