UPDATE- just heard from the dr.

He said that my estridol a little more than doubled and my lining went from 6 to 10 which were both good things. He said I had about 30 small follicles- that were 6 by 6 on my right ovary and about 20 same size on my left.
We're waiting for my blood results to arrive from this morning and based on the estridol level they'll either have me come in (if it's still increasing) or else they'll be writing me another prover prescription for round 2, which will probably double my dose of clomid up to 100mg. So, I'm guessing this is good- not really sure. Met w/ my drs partner again today since my dr wasn't there and when he calls me tonight I'll speak with MY dr.

UGH- my estridol level was back down to 48. He said I'm not responding enough to the 50mg of clomid. So it's back to the pharmacy tonight and now starting with 2 pills a day for 5 days. I can now officially say I'm down. I was trying to be so optimistic and hearing from my dr just now was worse than getting AF. I feel liike my body is failing me. I'm sitting here looking like a mess crying... why is this so hard for all of us? Every time I read one of our stories my heart breaks- it's not right and it's not fair.

Well at least the Clomid is doing something, maybe the dosage is too low and 100 mg will do it for you.
Hoping though that you will get a jump in your level and that means some of the follies will keep growing.
Fingers crossed! Let us know what the dr. says.

maybe the boost of clomid will really make a difference this cycle...its working on 50 you just need a bit more maybe!!

it's hard but you have to find what works. I hope 100 mg does it for you.

I'm sorry. It's so hard not to get frustrated. The same thing happened to me....hoping 100 works!

Thanks everyone. A few hours have gone by and I still feel awful. I'm going to go clamming with my dad and brother and just try not to think about it tonight... fat chance but I'll try.

i never knew how you got clams! lol.....i stay far away from seafood! plus where i live in queens the clams you find on the beach are kind of gross.....i hope you feel a little better than you did before
