I know I haven't been around lately. The pelvic pain I used to get has come back, and worse than before surgery. I was in the ER last Sunday, they did absolutely nothing for me. They actually treated me like I was making up the pain. But I did have an appt this past Friday at my specialist. He is the nicest doctor I have ever been to. I have to go back sometime this week for another ultrasound (but he thinks my scar tissue is back, so it won't show anything) but he's also doing a vulvar biopsy. I think that's what he said.. Have any of you had this done before? He said he will give local anesthetic, but I'm still kind of nervous about getting it done. I swear if it's not one thing it's another. My doctor also said he wants to get the biopsy done before even talking about the next step in TTC! Which I'm ok with, because I want this pelvic pain gone. I'm probably gonna have to have surgery again. I'm honestly about to have an emotional breakdown, why is it so hard to get pregnant? I just don't understand! Sorry so long, just needed to vent! if anyone has ever had a biopsy, please let me know! Thanks!! Dena

Thank You! the dr that did my surgery said I didn't have endo.. but my new dr said that for me to have scar tissue something must be going on in there. So, more than likely he will do another surgery. This is all wearing me out. Thank you again for the well wishes! I really appreciate it!

I have never had a biopsy either ( aside from the endo. biopsy- which was super quick)
I wish you the beat of luck- sorry you are having pain.

I've only had an endometrial biopsy I just wanted to wish you lots of luck and hope that your pain subsides and you get to TTC soon!

Sounds like you have pelvic adhesions? I just had a lapro and D&C for an ectopic and lost my right tube(you can read the whole thing in my post "update on me." My Dr told me adhesions are caused by infection, inflammation or bleeding. I am seeing an expert in infection/bacteria on Thursday-his name is Dr. Toth and I am hoping he can help with what is going on with me. I have had multiple losses probably related to scar tissue in my fallopian tubes. He does not take insurance but most people get partially reimbursed by their insurance. His website is:

Thank you all for the warm wishes! Melijane I just recently moved to Georgia. I love my new doctor down here. He's the nicest one I have been to and he seems to know what he's doing! Actually my dr called when I was out today and they scheduled me for an ultrasound tomorrow at 10am. they said since I'm in alot of pain, they want to get it over with instead of me waiting around. I'll update when I get home tomorrow! thanks again!

I had a c/s and for a year later I had terrible pelvic pain as a result of scar tissue. My sister has endometrois and there are times that she is doubled over in pain for days..from scar tissue from her surgery. HUGS!!! You deserve to be treated with respect and not like you are making anything up. I am glad you found a good doctor.

Thank you Gerty! Well I went for the ultrasound, my dr wasn't in today, so I just saw the ultrasound technician. It was over within 5 minutes. She didn't tell me anything. My dr will look over the results and call me probably tomorrow. The ultrasound technician said it sounded like I have endometriosis. Everyone I talk to says that! Doesn't make me feel any better!  I'll definitely update when I hear from my dr! Thanks again girls, you're all the best!

I'm sorry for the diagnosis. Just wanted to tell you that my friend's sister had a very severe case of endometriosis and got pregnant with IVF and had twin boys then got pregnant ON HER OWN and had a baby girl just last summer!
