UPDATE!! found one!!!!! need a new dr
I need a new Dr. I would like someone who delivers at Good Sam but am open to other hospitals.
Update: Thanks for all the recs. While I did like my Dr I just couldn't handle waiting for hours on end each appt. and then when finally being seen feeling slightly rushed.
I am taking the advice of 2 girls on here and 1 in real life and seeing Dr Antoniadis. They were so nice on the phone and got me in for Friday of this week since I never got my monthly appt today with my old Dr.
Pregnancy is stressful enough and I decided I didnt need my Drs appt to make it wrose.

Not Good Sam, or West Islip, but I LOVE my drs in Huntington. I will deliver at Huntington Hospital. Dr. Wagner and Dr. Goldman.
I've been to 2 practices and both were affiliated with Good Sam and I didn't love either practice. I do think GS is a good hospital, but I moved and wasn't overly impressed by the 2 practices that I went to.

I use South Bay OBGYN and they deliver at Good Sam. Dr. Judge is my favorite over there.

South Shore OBGYN in East Islip, Dr. Gubert delivers at Good Sam. I've been seeing her for years and she's been great.

I have a few friends who see Dr. Trivedi in Islip and they all RAVE about him. He delivers at Good Sam.

If you don't mind my asking, do you want to leave the practice or just Dr. Judge? If you don't mind the practice...I had only seen Dr. Lockhart once before I had my 1st dc, but she delivered me and was so wonderful that I've been seeing her since. She's great & her wait times seem to be a lot less than Dr. Judges. Dr. Jurak is also wonderful &, in my experience, has a shorter wait time as well. Whatever you decide, good luck!

If you don't mind me asking, why are you leaving?
I have spent way too much time waiting in his office. He made me wait almost 2 hrs the day of my amnio and at my appt today I never say him.....I had a 730am appt (his first) yet 6 people were seen before me and I waited for over an hour for him when I finally walked out.
Its a shame because our families are firiends and I do like him as a person but I refuse to waste my time in his office and the staff out front is the worst.

Crashing BTDT mom here, LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!! Huntington Hospital is really amazing, great nurses I felt very taken care of there, good luck!

I'm a patient at Comprehensive and I love Dr Sampino and Dr Ketcham. I have yet to meet Dr Vullo. Have also heard fantastic things about Dr Trivedi who has his own practice in Bay Shore or Islip (can't remember).
Comprehensive covers for Dr Trivedi when he is not in.

Thank you! Antother person outside of LIF also recommended him so I called. The receptionist is goignt o call me back when the dr gets in after 2 to schedule an appt.
Thanks again!!!!! I never thought I would have to find a new Dr at almost 20weeks but I guess I should have listened to my gut before I got PG.

Dr. Gubert is my doctor and I love her. The wait time is not bad at all. She was on vacation when I went into labor so Comprehansive covers for her. I dealt with Drs. Ketcham and Sampino and they were both fantastic

I would recommend Comprehensive but after this morning's appointment - waiting for 45 minutes, being confused with a different patient with the same last name, then asked if I was a new patient (I was there yesterday, have been going for 10 years and am 30 weeks pregnant) I am very frustrated and concerned about my own choice The Drs. are great but the office staff are a nightmare.

I've been in the OR with Dr. A. Good man, knows his stuff, staff and other MDs speak very well of him.
That is EXACTLY why I left South Bay. Waiting time is out of control and that office is a nightmare. They are assbackwards and it seems like they are overwhelmed with their quantity of patients. I liked my dr too.. oh well! I like my drs now, much more!
