UPDATE!!!! ETSY.COM Home Items

UPDATE: OH HAPPY DAY!!!!! I found a sign!!!!!!!!!!!! I clicked the links below and within 2 minutes, I stumbled across the PERFECT sign I'M IN LOVE! It's not a kitchen sign, it's a bedroom sign but OMG It's absolutely PERFECT! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I'm so happy"!

I don't really know where i'm going with this. I have heard SO much about Etsy.com but I am having no luck.... Maybe i'm just not using the site properly? I'm trying to find signs for the house (kiss me goodnight or cafe stuff for my kitchen) and i'm coming up with just garbage on the site.

Again, no idea where i'm going with this except if anyone has an extra minute to maybe peak and send me a link, see if i'm looking in the right places or can have any luck. Ebay is not doing it for me lately and i've head so many good about Etsy, i'd love to join the fan club :)

Is it just me?

Those are so pretty! I couldn't find anything like that when I was looking, it was all little chachkies (however u spell that haha). I am going to try to find some wooden signs with a beach theme tonight. I may FM you for help, it that's ok??

That's so funny. I used to visit and I had the same problem - all I was finding was crummy stuff. When I finally got the hang of it, there were some really cute and pretty things.

I think you have to start really generic. Like for you, I would start with "sign". Then on the left are sections, like I think there's a woodworking section? Then go from there.

A lot of times if I find one seller with a style I like, they will have a lot of different options.

Just pay attention to where the sellers are located, as there are international sellers and it will take longer to get your stuff.

Do you know about Etsy Treasuries? They typically have the best items because the people who make them want them to appear on the front page. That means great exposure for anyone who has an item in it, and lots of sales. You're not supposed to put yourself in the Treasury, it's one of the rules of the site. So it's really all about other people.

Also, the usually have themes and feature the things that are Etsy trends like pure white or turquoise items.

I just don't get this at all!

I swear, i'm a fairly intelligent person but the whole site just overwhelms me LOL I need a tutor!!!!

Thanks for trying to help me ladies. I didn't get a chance to actually sit and REALLY dig through it so I need to give it more of a chance.
