Unsolicited calls...
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOUSING.
Last month we called an agent to look at a home. We wound up never seeing the home, but the agent had our unlisted home number and my name.
Last night I get a call that I had been "referred for a wonderful sales opportunity!" Something that I would pay to learn more about...Turns out it was the AGENT who never met me who referred me and gave my name and number.
Are they allowed to do this? I had no idea I might be getting unsolicited borderline harassing calls after sharing my number with agents!

they are allowed to do it unless you are on the do not call list.

exactly. just register on the DNC list and tell them that you are on the DNC if/when they call again and they will hang up so quickly!!!! its punishable by like a $10k fine (in that ballpark).

I am on the DNC list. I just thought it was weird that the realtor was giving out my number...
