What age is best to enjoy the park? Would it be worth it to take a 4 year old or wait

I think they would like it! There are two parts to Universal. There is Universal and Islands of Adventure. I would stick with the Universal side. There is a huge Dr. Seuss part and PLENTY of other kid related activities. Yes!

I bel;ieve dr. seuss is on the islands of adventure side. I've been researching for an upcoming trip. We decided to skip universal/ioa.
DD is 3.5 and we didnt feel there was enough she could do.

We went to the Universal part, not Islands of Adventure. I thought it was boring. The Island of Adventures part looks much more fun to me.

We took my DD to Universal/Islands of Adventure last year. She was just over 4 y/o. She had a blast! There was a lot she couldn't do, but there was definitely a good amount for her to enjoy. I wouldn't do any younger than 4, though (and probably would recommend more like 6 or 7 ideally, but 4 was certainly doable!).

We just came back from Florida and we went to Islands of Adventure and there was not much for kids to do. The Dr. Suess area is small and the rest is a lot of adventure/roller coaster type rides.
