What age is good for Universal?

Is 7 and 5 too young to enjoy?

I think 7 is ok but 5 might be too young. But of course that all depends on your child. I know there are a lot of height restrictions that a 5 year old might not make.

Re: Universal Studios

We went a few months ago when boys were 4.5 and 6.5. We had a blast. Kids were unfamiliar with Harry Potter until we watched the first 2 right before our trip. They loved doing wand spells. Older DS rode the kiddie HP roller coaster like 3-4x. I probably enjoyed the HP section more than the kids.

There is a dr seuss, jurassic park, toonland, super hero and other areas that are very kid friendly. Minions ride was super cute. We would go to the parks at opening and stay until after lunch, then we would return to our hotel to swim. It was a great vacation.

Re: Universal Studios

I think those ages would enjoy Islands of Adventure more then Universal Studios.
My boys are 9 and 6 and we are probably waiting until next year for Universal/Islands of Adventure

We went when my DD was 6 and she loved it. But, there are strict height requirements....weird ones too. Like had to be a certain height for the Dr. Seuss rides, which just seemed like high requirements to me (can't remember what they were). Double check that. Orlandoinformer.com is a great site for all things Universal.
