Universal Studios?
My parents are taking us to WDW - we made the plane tickets 1 day earlier so we could go to Universal.
We are staying at the Polynesian. We could add a night here and get to Universal from WDW, but WDW said we would have to change rooms ay the Polynesians since it's two different reservations.
Has anyone stayed at the Universal Hotels (The beach Cabanas are all booked)...it would literally be for 1 night. We arrive in Orlando in the morning...will they take our bags so we can go to the park like WDW? Or should we send our bags to WDW and just live out of our carry ons? Can we do that?

Re: Universal Studios?
I have never had to switch rooms at Disney when adding a night to the reservation. Does your current reservation have dining and that is why you're doing a separate reservation?
Disney has always been able to link my reservation so that I do not need to switch rooms, while they do not guarantee it, they do link the reservations and try to keep you in the room.
It is against the policy to use the baggage option of DME without actually using DME yourself.
I think it would be easier to switch rooms at your resort if you had to, rather than switch resorts all together.
There is a shuttle available for Universal hotels offered through MEARS transportation, but it is not free like Disney's.
When is your trip? I make changes and find solutions to situations like this for my clients all the time. Feel free to send me an email to see if I can help.

Re: Universal Studios?
Thanks Kerri,
My mom is working with their agent and it is for 3 rooms. My sister called and they told her they couldn't add onto just hers... I think you are right - it's probably just best to stay at the Polynesian - even if we have to move rooms (I think WDW will move us)
