Under arm shaving
How do you get a really good shave? I feel like I always have stubble and I hate it. Even when I use a brand new razor.
Any tips?

Re: Under arm shaving
I'm with you. I feel like I have to get into the craziest positions to get every nook and cranny
I have used DH's razor and it works like the PP said. Although he knows and gave me that one and got another one

I always use mens razors. The work so much better. I believe I use the mach 3 turbo.

Re: Under arm shaving
try exfoliating your underarms in between shaves, may loosen the pores. HTH

Re: Under arm shaving
Same...never got it good enough and cause im so dark, it get a 5 oclock shadow instantly so I went with laser.
On halt due to being pg but noticeable already after 3/4 session, the growth is SLOW and barely there. Cant wait to get back in there to finish up!

Re: Under arm shaving
Men's triple blade razor, dry shave, in the mirror...best way to make sure you're not missing anything. If you can't handle a dry shave, use a small amt of clear aloe gel so you can see.

i do top to bottom
then bottom to top
then left to right
then right to left
works pretty well for me. now if i could only get it to last longer, that would be wonderful!

I use the same exact one, but hubby gets so pissy, but it's the only thing that works. LOL!

I did the laser for awhile. In the beginning the laser is not as intense and it just feels sorta like someone flicking you with a rubber band. But after a few sessions they turn up the intensity a bit and it kinda feels like a hot rubber band flick (I hope that makes sense). It didnt hurt me since I was used to waxing my pitts.
Keep in mind with laser it will stay away for awhile, but you may need to go back in a few years to get it done again, which is why it stopped. It will vary from person to person when your hair grows back.
Prices will vary and I didnt pay since my mom worked there at the time.

thats what i do too, all angles/directions. I use the Venus razor, which I am pretty happy with. I am not too hairy under my arms. I shave maybe 2-3x/week.

Re: Under arm shaving
I do all angles & directions too-, and I exfoliate. It's still not perfect,--I have fair skin & dark hair.
I saw some who had just gotten her pits waxed once, at my nail salon, and I didn't even know you could that, but that would probably help.

No, that works! I shave every day because if I can feel it, it bugs me, but if I can, before a wedding or soemthing where I know I'll be sleeveles & moving around a lot, I will try & let it go a few days before to get a better shave for that day.

I use that too. I also find that exfoliating before helps.

I have to shave my armpits everyday and it is so annoying.... I freak when I can feel it and since having DD it grows in faster.
