Ultrascreen Results -- Question
Got my ultrascreen results from the Dr. today and they are a bit off for Trisomy 13/18. According to my Dr. they are within the normal range because they are above 1:150. However, at my age they should be 1:1066 and they came back at 1:197. He is ordering a genetic scan along with my AFP at 16 weeks and a few other tests to be cautious with no risk for the baby. He really didn't seem too concerned and must have reiterated 100 times that the numbers were within the normal range. I just can't help but worry. Has anyone else had experience with this?

Re: Ultrascreen Results -- Question
I think that Janine (neener1211) had a similar experience (but her ratio was something like 1:10). Her other tests came back normal and she did not have an amnio, baby is 1000% fine.
Good luck, I am willing to bet that if the baby really did have any potential issues that the ratio would have been much, much lower.

Re: Ultrascreen Results -- Question
a friend of mine had hers come back abnormal - 1:300something, she later did an amnio - baby is totally fine.
