Ultrascreen picture question
I'm going for my ultrascreen on the 24 (Christmas Eve)! I would love to have pictures to show at Christmas. Did you get pictures from the ultrasound right on the spot or did you have to wait for the results to come in a week later to get the pictures?
Also, I know that the results won't be back for a week or so and I'll meet with my doctor then but if there is something really wrong, they'll tell me there, right?
I'm having the ultrascreen done at North Shore Manhasset, if it makes a difference.
Thanks!

Re: Ultrascreen picture question
I got pics on the spot - 8 gorgeous ones
As for telling you on the spot if there is something wrong...not sure. They have to compare the measurements to your blood. The tech did tell us that the baby's measurement numbers did look good/nothing to worry about...but that they would have to look at my bloodwork as well.
Which reminds me...I haven't heard from the office yet.
It's a great visit - we got to watch the baby for about 45 minutes. S/he wasn't the most cooperative LOL

As for telling you on the spot if there is something wrong --I'm not sure either. All I know is that when they get a profile of the baby they are looking for line near/along the spine. The Dr. at the hospital told me the thinner the line, the better.
I got 4 pics (1 was a profile). And the results took about 1-1.5 week later.
I got mine done at Long Island Jewish

Re: Ultrascreen picture question
I don't know if they can tell you on the spot if something is wrong, but I don't think so. I believe they have to have someone else look at the sono afterwards and then they will call you in about a week if anything is wrong.
I got 2 pics on the spot!
