Ugh, why won't she sleep anymore????
UGH, I can't take it much more Sleeps horribly at night, sleeps horribly during naps. WHAT THE HECK??? Up at least 1 time a night, won't go back to sleep for a while. Fights naps (she was still doing 2/day, so we're thinking she was going to switch to 1 a day now), she's presently fighting a nap in her crib right now when she's obviously very tired.
So THIS is what you were all posting about a month or two ago

Re: Ugh, why won't she sleep anymore????
Jack is in his crib screaming his head off right now - and we have a party at 1 that I need him to nap before -- looks like that's not going to happen.
What time are her naps during the day? I noticed awhile ago transitioning from one nap to two was throwing him off - now that he's in a schedule with one nap (at 12 everyday) it's usually pretty easy (except for when I have plans obviously )

DS is also crying in his crib trying to go down for a nap...whats with these June 28th babies and naps LOL. Once he actually gets to sleep he's fine (sleeps for naps around 2 hours) its just this part that sucks. Truthfully, i will go in a couple minutes and rub his back, that tends to work Update: yup, he's out like a light...took 2 min of rubbing his back

Re: Ugh, why won't she sleep anymore????
Boy ladies, what's with the 6/28 kids today?? Bonnie, I'm jealous. There was NO WAY C was taking a nap, so now she's getting all bundled up to run around outside for a few minutes....ugh!
Diana-- she used to go down for her morning nap anywhere from 9:30-10:30. She was thrown all out of whack when we went OOT for Thanksgiving, by her own doing, but was better when we first got back. She has been up since 6:15am today (well, she had her screaming fit at midnight, I had to give in and go in b/c she wouldn't stop, then again at 4:30am, she cried that one out for literally 30 minutes ) The kid has 1 million teeth it seems, so maybe another is coming in-- who knows!!

DS is 15 months and started this recently - espcially with the naps. I found pushing his nap time later helped a lot.

Re: Ugh, why won't she sleep anymore????
I think it must be a stage-DD is almost 16 months and has gone through this periodically. She always gets back on track within a week or 2 (hope I don't jinx it)-We do let her fuss during the night, for 15-20 minutes sometimes if needed, because we don't want her to think this is the "new routine". Good luck, I hope it gets better

Bonnie - you are too cute -- I could see you going in there and rubbing his back for two mins as he passes out.
You know what would happen to me if I did that? Jack would b!tchslap me and say "Get me the hell out of this crib NOW mom!!!!"
C - Good luck transitioning to one nap! We're here if you need us!

OMG, so sorry we ruined you ( its your own fault for bragging. ...Im kidding).
I 100% believe its a phase. We have them so much. Remember my kid was this way about 2 months ago, ever since, I swear he is a model perfect sleeper . There are so many phases, just ride it out. I highly doubt she became a bad sleeper overnight.
Hang in there

Is she getting teeth? Emma's sleep is severely impacted when she is getting new teeth.

She napped at 1:45 today, for 1.5 hours, and went to bed at regular time. Praying she sleeps well tonight-- I gave her some teething tablets b/c she's been gnawing on everything she can get her hands on and teeth are definitely coming in

I do think it's teeth. She's generally a good teether and has a ton of teeth (I have no clue which she has/doesn't have ) but she's got a mouthful but has been cramming her hands in there all day, etc. Gave her some teething tablets before bed, poor thing.

too cute D!! How do you put Jack in? I used to be able to just put him in and leave and he would go down for the naps, but daycare rocks his crib and my SIL rubs his back so he got into that routine
C-i found that that the transition from 1-2 naps was difficult for us at first. after a while he started to get into the routine. He's at daycare 1 day and my SIL 2 days so he doesnt always go down the exact same time every day (b/t 11-12:30 is the norm b/t all three of us), but his little body now knows he always gets 1 nap a day and he tends to sleep b/t 1.5-2.5 hours (when he had two naps it was 1-1.5 hours each one,TOPS and it was inconsistent.) This one nap a day works out great for him any questions, feel free to ask

Re: Ugh, why won't she sleep anymore????
i posted about a month ago and ds is still not sleeping. naps are a bit better but to lengthen them when he wakes up i go in and hold him (SO bad i know but whatever till the baby comes.) at night he wakes and can cry hysterically for over an hour, falls back to sleep only to cry again every hour on the hour. between ds and my insomina i get 2 hours TOPS a night!
