UGH! Pipes
Had a leak. Plumber came to fix it. Second time, same pipe.
Galvanized steel. It's rusting, pin holes..yikes.
I have an old house. Frankly I need to upgrade the pipes.
It will be $800-900 to replace all of the galvanized steel with some new plastic piping.
I know we need to do this, but I think DH will freak. It's a lot of money and I now it has to be done.
Damn..money pit.

it's probably better to do it now, though, right? especially with winter coming? that's annoying though.. I hate spending money on stuff like that - i'd much rather spend it on something fun for the house, KWIM?

yeah, we wanted to do carpeting and painting next month. That will have to wait.
It's not the end of the world..just really annoying. DH tends to be a little more dramatic about it.'
Next house..won't be 80 years old.

I hear ya! our house is 90+ years old while its awesome to have that it can be a P I A!
Esp with electric, pipes,m we have slowly had to update all that.
