ugh, I think I had a low blood sugar moment

Remember Leslie's unfortunate incident during her photoshoot (she forgot to eat and ended up suddenly passing out)? If I recall correctly, she may have also been 37 weeks when it happened......

well, I had a very similar close call today I felt fine... had breakfast at about 10:30... at 1PM, DH drove me to the bank. he used the ATM outside, and I went inside to deposit a check. I felt fine when I entered.

within 3 min of standing on line, I began to feel hot and a bit sweaty. then I felt light-headed and saw a few spots.... I automatically thought 'shoot, my blood sugar levels must be very low'. I made it through the bank, went into the car, and drank DH's juice/water drink... not nearly enough sugar.

then this GD girl did the unthinkable.... I went across the street and got a pina colada smoothy. my gut instinct is that my sugar levels were 50 or less (since I tested before I left home and they were 60. Why on earth didn't I eat something then???!!!!). The smoothy held me over until we could buy lunch.

Now the rest of my errands have been cancelled, and DH left with my mom to do the food shopping. I'm resting at mom's house.

Lesson in this: one flaky moment (not eating after testing and seeing low sugar levels) could be VERY detrimental. Everyone, be careful to take care of yourselves!
