UGH FAMILY VENT

So my DH family has some severe jelousy issues. I don't get it whatever happened to being a good person/happy for other people. At what point did doing something good become threatening to people. Not to include they are talking to other people about us. They haven't actually come to us about the issue. I am soooo confused. I don't know what to do. HELP!!!!!!!!

I have the same problem with my DH's mom and sister. In our situation, since we got married, MIL has been very jealous that DH doesn't NEED her anymore (although they were never really close to begin with from what he tells me) and since having the baby, it had gotten even worse.

DH's world revolves around me and our DD. And mine revolves around him and DD and we feel that's how it is supposed to be. Of course our parents and siblings are important to us, but DD comes first and his Mom can't handle that. It got so bad that we had a HUGE blowout and she actually told DH that he should divorce me when he gets back from Iraq.

Needless to say, we no longer speak to her, rarely to his sister either bc she thinks 'Mom does no wrong'. After a while, you just gotta ignore come people and really do whats best for you. ESPECIALLY with your DH being deployed right now, I want to punch anyone who makes even a single minute of this time harder for you!
