Ugh Applesacue dilemma...
I just made a TON of applesauce, in the crockpot, which I make every year and for some reason it came out a little too watery.
How do I fix it?
I do not want to watse all those apples...I made a triple batch.

Re: Ugh Applesacue dilemma...
The only thing I can think of is cornstarch but I'm not sure how that would mesh with applesauce...
I'm sorry, that stinks

Re: Ugh Applesacue dilemma...
will refrigeration make it come together better?
if not what about making another small batch with much less water and mixing them together?

Re: Ugh Applesacue dilemma...
Try draining some through a cheese cloth and then add it back in to thicken it.

Re: Ugh Applesacue dilemma...
Let it cook longer without a top. You can't overcook apple sauce and it will thicken.
