ugh!

last night was the first time i was able to eat a whole meal -- chicken fingers and fries, not healthy, i know, but it was awesome to get something in my system besides bread.

now my stomach feels heavy and full, which is making me feel nauseous and i can't go to the bathroom. ugh, i feel like i can't win.

any suggestions?

ugh!

Constipation for the win! Ask your doctor if colace is ok for you, it's a stool softener. Also, drink lots of water.

Re: ugh!

Your body might be potentially reacting to the fried food - it's tough because sometimes that's the only thing that you can stomach, but then your body reacts differently to it. Try and go with simpler foods today and drink tons of water to almost reset yourself. Hope you feel better.

Don't beat yourself up, it happens. Sometimes that's the only thing that helps. Try and space out your meals with smaller meals instead of bigger ones also, that helps a lot and keeps your body in check in a way. For example, in the mornings for first trimester, I had a bagel in the morning because that's all I could eat to make me feel better, but then shortly after I would have some greek yogurt, then some fruit, maybe some almonds, lunch, etc.
