UGH!
I called my drs office to make sure that i should def. only go for bloodwork tomorrow and no sono. My dr just left me a message while i was taking packages out of my car to let me know that i'm right--- just bloodwork. He said that he knew i was worried that i might be ovulating and miss my opportunity but he said he's adding progesterone to my bloodtest so they check the level. He's sure I haven't O'd yet and said that next it will be time to move onto injections. This is just such a shock to me. I never expected that I'd have to go thru so much to have the opportunity to become pregnant. And what's scarier is that if this doesn't work-- that's it. DH won't go thru IUI or IVF w/ me b/c HIS views are that it goes against God (and no, I'm not trying to get into a debate about this w/ anyone or offend anyone so please don't take it that way). I'm trying to hard to stay positive but what if this doesn't work? I hate this...

Re: UGH!
I'm so sorry you are feeling this way. I too never thought I'd have to go through what we're going through in order to have a family. But I couldn't imagine my DH not being in the same place as me, I can't imagine dealing with that as well, especially with how stressful IF is to begin with.
Any chance somewhere down the road, your husband will come around?

Re: UGH!
I'm sorry...I've been there and I know how badly it s*cks to hear. But as you know I've had great results from injectibles and they will work for you too! They are much different from Clomid in the way they interact with your body and stimulate your ovaries. I know that you will have success on them...
I'm so sorry you keep having setbacks, please try to stay positive...

Re: UGH!
Thanks ladies. I just got back from meeting my dad, brother, SIL and niece up the island (my mom and grandma came w/ me--- DH was working ). My niece adores me and wanted to sit next to me and kept hugging and kissing me..., which usually would make me feel better but tonight made me feel like something that I can't have so far was being shoved in my face. She even told me I could "steal" her and she could stay over my house tonight. They stay in Queens during the week and only come out east on the weekends, and she doesn't have school tomorrow and was very excited at the possibility of having a sleepover at my and DH's house. I'm glad they talked her out of it b/c I don't think I could've handled her tonight, emotionally. I'm too sad just from spending time w/ her (and from before that too). UGH- THIS SUCKS!!!

Re: UGH!
I'm so sorry...if you don't get pg on the injectables, maybe you could talk to DH about adoption. I don't want to sound mean, but it might be time for you to explore other options or decide how far you really want to go. I know you love your DH and I think it might be a good idea at this point to see where he stand on other alternatives.
I truly am not trying to be negative, I just know how tough this is and at some point - I know for me, especially - it helps to know what path you are going to travel in the future so you can keep your head straight about this process.

Re: UGH!
I know how hard you're trying and I know its amazing how we all never thought we'd have this much trouble getting pregnant, and here we are.
I honestly think you need to have a long talk with your DH about all of this. Have you guys considered adoption? My biggest concern would be resentment. I hope that you guys can work out other alternatives rather than just throwing in the towel. We are here when you need us
