Ugh . . . . Gap clothes sizing driving me crazy . . .
Mia is 4 months today. At her 3 month appt. she was 13 pounds, 1 ounce and 23 and 3/4 inches. We go next week for her next appt.
I bought some things for her from the gap for January into March. Since she seems right in the middle of sizes when seasons change, I figured going up to 6-12 months would be safer than the 3-6 month size, especially since I wanted them for a month from now.
I tried on one of the one pieces I got her and can I just say HOLY HUGE! This one is footed and fer feet didn't even reach the foot.
I am guessing the gap runs bigger because they don't have a 6-9 month range and 6-12 months is a pretty wide range to fit.
So I am not sure if I should exchange for the smaller size and hope that she doesn't outgrow them before the time I wanted them for (since they are true winter outfits), if I should keep them and hope that she fits into them sooner than later so that she doesn't just wear them for a week before moving onto spring attire or if I should just return them and chalk it up to the Gap not fitting her for this time frame.
I am guesstimating that at this point she is probably just shy of 25 inches and about 15 pounds.

Well, DS has 1 pair of gap overalls 6-12 months that are still quite large on him. DS is 10 months and 18 lbs 6 oz.

Yeah they run large.
I have AJ's Easter dress 6-12mo she wore for thanksgiving at 15mo
Her long sleeves from the cold of NY still fit her now in the chill of TX a year later. So in a way its bad but also its great cause once they fit they seem to fit for a good while.
totally opposite is Gerber which seems to run small for me. as does Carters. Old Navy seems to fit closest

i'd keep it --- DS is 18lbs and 27" and the 6-12 pants are snug and short on him. The 1-pieces JUST fit --- they're on their way out
