Ugghhh-Kids Fighting!!!!
I love staying home from work as I get alot of things done and get to spend time with the kids but it drives me INSANE how they fight ALL DAY. I mean from 6am on until they both fall asleep between 8:30-9pm!! I try to get them to do things together but they fight over who has what and they want what the other one has. If one is on the computer and the TV is on, the other just HAS TO be on what they are on.
The age difference is 5 years so you would think they would have nothing in common.
Is anyone else in my boat or is it just me????

Mine are closer in age, but what's worked is when I separate them. I tell them they can't play together at all. I think you have it tougher with the age difference because the younger one inevitably wants to do what the older one is doing.

Unfortunately, in my situation, it is the older one wanting to do what the younger one is doing!! It drives me nuts because I remember as a kid not doing things with my sister because she was 5 years younger too.

my bigger girls are doing the same thing!(they are 17 months apart) i am at my wits end. i CANNOT wait until school starts!!!!! i will be doing the dance of joy at the bus stop!

My kids are 3 years apart, and they fight constantly. It drives me insane too, I try to grap one of their attentions and get them focused on something else, but that doesn't always work. It seems like they fight over EVERYTHING!!! They are a boy and a girl, I don't know if that makes a difference at all. I am stressed out very early in the day because that's when it starts and it doesn't end here either until around 9:30ish.

nope you're definitely not alone. my boys fight all the time. the little one even threw the older one down the stairs!!! thank god he did not get hurt. they wrestle and fight all the time. the age difference is 3 years

my gilrs are 3 years apart and they fight ALL day long!!! Sometimes they start brawling, they throw punches, kick, pull each other's hair, it drives me nuts, i have unfortunately become desensitized to it and they could be screaming at each other and I barely hea it anymore becaus eit is just the normal sounds of the house

My older is a girl and younger boy. I had a younger sister and we were just so much calmer so my mom does not understand what I am going through!!
