Uggg!! My poor DD!
My DD (almost 4yrs) has had the stomach bug since Saturday afternoon and it is a doozy. She hasn't been able to keep anything down since then. We are sticking to frozen ginger ale and tiny sips of pedialyte to keep her hydrated. She has been throwing up everything and screams when she does because her throat hurts so much from the bile. She keeps crying and saying "I just want to get better"  It is killing me to watch her be this sick - she has had the stomach bug before but never this bad. The dr. said they are getting tons of phone calls about it and it could last a few more days. At least she has been peeing so we know she is not dehydrated.
I just feel like crying because I just went back to work after maternity leave and was so looking forward to spending this week (off for Feb. break) doing family fun stuff. Plus DS, who is 4mnths old was throwing up Friday night and a little on Saturday, so I am trying to keep them seperate as much as possible. He is much better, thank goodness, and I was also so looking forward to cuddleing with him all week but DD is in "all I want is mommy mode" so DH has been taking him while I take care of her. I am so lucky that DH is home too because we are playing man to man in this house. It just totally stinks. I just want my little girl to feel better. I just feel so HELPLESS!! Guess I just need some hugs and reassurance that everything will be ok.

It's going around like crazy. I had it back in January and wiped everything down-the remote, our phones, I even rinsed my toothbrush in hot water. I opened the windows too. Anything to get the germs out! I hope they feel better!

See if the pedi will call in a script for Zofran. The same thing happened to my friends kids and after 24 hours of throwing up, they gave it to them and it worked.. It isn't worth the suffering they are going through.. I know it is better for the virus to be out of their system, but it will find another way out if you know what I mean..
