What is the uft workshop? I haven't heard of this and now I'm worried I need to sign up for something I didn't know about.

I meant to sign up for the Uft Maternity Workshop where they explain leave and FMLA.

I have a really good contact at the union. Her name is Myra Ettenburg her number is 212-598-6800. She only works a few days a week but she is really knowledgeable. I did not go to the workshop bc it was just really far from where I work.
IF you have any questions I might be able to help with this being my second baby while at the DOE but she is a great source of info.

She took a few days to get back to me
She is not the one who runs the workshop p just schedules. the one who does it only works there 2 days a week after school (she teaches during the day)

Make sure you email her with a non DOE email address. UFT does not correspond with anyone when they use their doe email address.
