Re: UFT Members/Alimentum Users
Ds was on nutragimen and it was Covered. Call welfare fund and ask to speak to the pharmacist (yes, they have one!) He will walk you Through the process, so easy. You will need an Rx from the doctor and a letter stating it is medically necessary. I had the formula in my hand only2 days latdr.
Co.pay for.me.was.only.$35.00 for a month, which.was less than one jar if the stuff at the store. I used powdered, so the.script Actually covered about 6 weeks worth. I would think if you are using RTF the amount will be more exact in terms of what you use, so make sure it us clear in the rx how.much tou need for the.month, allowing for a little extra. You will have to get it filled at a local pharmacy, medco does not deliver formula.
Fm if you have any other questions. Welfare fund was very helpful. In the meantime, ask your ped. For samples while you wait so you're not paying for it.
