I believe that theatres must be equipped for 3D movies, in order to show it. I doubt it will ever be in wide release.

If you go to find a theatre there is a list of all the places it will be shown and the date. It doesn't open on Long Island until 2/15

I can't wait. My dh and dd saw the preview in 3D when they saw Hannah Montana and they said it looked really good.
