Not sure how this works but I recieved a gift off my registry but I havent had my baby shower yet. Should I send her a TY card now or all together after my shower? TIA

Re: TY card etiquette

Not sure what the etiquette is but I would send it now so you dont forget. One less to do after the shower.

I would send it now. This way they know you received it and you get to get it out of the way. You will be writing a lot of thank you's soon and so getting as many as you can out of the way would be helpful.

Re: TY card etiquette

If you got the present already, I would send the TY card.

Defnitely send it now...chances are this person might not be able to attend your shower (thus the early gift)...

If your shower is a week or two away and you'd rather wait till you do all your TY cards, I think that's okay. But if it's far away, I'd do it now (however, doing it now is probably best since really - why not?? Chat Icon).

Re: TY card etiquette

When I got gifts before my shower I sent a quick note to thank them, and then also sent the formal thank you that I had made for my shower.

Not sure what the etiquette is, but I know in my family if one person knows that they did not get the same thank you as everyone else all hell breaks looseChat Icon
