Two year molars

Once they started coming in, about how long was the whole ordeal? Yesterday was the first time I was able to feel one popping through. She's had some trouble sleeping the last few days but did well last night with motrin. Wondering how quickly the rest will follow and how many bottles of motrin I need to stock up on?Chat Icon

Re: Two year molars

For my DD, the two year molars were the ONLY teeth that took FOREVER to come in. I would say it was a good month or so where she was uncomfortable and had some restlessness at night while sleeping. Once they finally came through she was back to her old self but it did take a few weeks with her.

Good luck! Chat Icon

Oh man! Thanks ladies. I really have no memory of the first set coming in so they must have been pretty easy on her. Hopefully these either all come in fast or she at least gets a break after this one comes through. Wish us luck!

Re: Two year molars

It took at least 15 months for all of them to finally pop through... He was a little over 3 when the last one came in all the way.. They were bad...

Those were the worst for both of my boys - the two year molars weren't a walk in the park by any means but, were nowhere near as bad as the canines.

She actually did okay with those. The only time it was really bad for a long time was around 8 months when she got 6 teeth in a fairly short period.

She napped fine yesterday and sttn the last two nights with motrin. I'm going to try to skip it today though (unless she shows signs of being in pain) and see what happens.Chat Icon
