Two things I keep meaning to post (shopping)

1. Gap is having a huge sale (not sure when it started so this might be old). I scored some really great stuff today and now I want to go back after looking at the reciept. Things that weren't marked down still had reductions.


2. Yesterday I went to Carter's in Carle Place (on Voice Road) and tried to use my 20% coupon along with a $10 card from their last promotion. At the source they told me I could use both and even let me do it earlier that day. At Carle Place they said no way - the girl was pretty rude about it and refused to even call to get more info. She just said that they couldn't do it and that their registers wouldn't allow them. So I walked out but I was upset so I called the number on the coupon and spoke with a really nice person. She called the store directly and told them they do have to honor that - it's the way it's done and instructed them on how to do it.

So....if you have one of those $10 cards from their promotion (spend $35 and get the card - they do it several times during the year) you can use your 20% off coupon of $50 or more and then they will apply the $10 off the balance so long as it is $25 or more (which it has to be to use the 20% coupon)

I just wanted to add that I have a 25% off 35.00 or more coupon for Caters sent to me via email- it expires tomorrow - so if anyone wants one FM and I can email it over to you.

I used both of those coupons together at the Tanger Carters and had no issues, thankfully!
