Anyone have one? Do you know how tall they can get and if they last in our climate?
TIA!

Re: Twisted Hibiscus tree??
i get hibiscus bushes every year, i had a hibiscus tree last year, not sure if it was "twisted" or not.
they only like warm - > hot weather. although my tree lasted until about october last year, which really shocked me.
maybe they are hybridding (is that a word?) now to make them more hearty???

Re: Twisted Hibiscus tree??
it's tropical (think hawaiian)... we've had them for YEARS in planters... every fall we schlep them in, and put them right across our glass sliding doors... I think one is almost 20 years old by now
we've had 'trees' and regular shrubs. frankly, the trees are a bit of a PITA. They are not real trees, but shrubs that were bonsai'ed until they looked almost tree-ish. problem is, that plant is not designed to be so top heavy.... they're much happier with a lower center of gravity (i.e. shrub form).
so while trees look pretty in the nursery, we now stick to shrubs.
