Twinges and pain in my lower back

I am 12w3d - I started feeling little twinges in my lower pelvic area on the right hand side. Is that my hips expanding?

Then.......this morning I am walking from my car to the office and all of the sudden I feel like I have a pain in my lower back extending all the way to my right butt cheek
Is THAT normal? I literal can say this is a pain in my butt!
