Tweezers!
So the tweezers weren't working as well as they used to and I asked my husband... "oh yeah, they haven't worked well since I used them to clear a paper jam in the shredder."   
So... they were kinda cruddy to begin with anyway...
What is a good tweezer style and type? Are those ones with rubber tips worth it? Is this an odd question to ask?

Tweezerman!You can even get them at Harmon or Bed Bath and use the 20% off..I got the smallest slant tip one and it's great..never tried the one with the rubber tips, though..enjoy! You won't be sorry ( I think there's even some kind of guarantee or something)

i use the petite set - it comes with a slant tip and a point tip in a little pouch. Perfect!

If by any chance you don't want to spend the $ on the Tweezermans, I actually bought a pair of Sally Hensen tweezers at Duane Reade for like $4 and they are GREAT! They are the stainless steel tweezers that come with a black pouch. I actually bought the slant tip AND the pointy tip because I like them that much.

Sephora makes the best tweezers. They are $18 and you can test them right there in the store, which is my favorite part. I hate buying tweezers in drug stores --so many of them are crappy and you have no way of knowing until you brought it home and took it out of the packaging!
