Tween Christmas gift
My cousin's son has a step daughter who is 11 or 12. She's a sweet kid, but I am not close to her. This year she'll be joining our family for Christmas eve.
The last time she joined us, I gave her a small gift basket of hair stuff... clips, pony tail elastics, etc.
I was thinking of giving her a kid-friendly mani/pedi basket, this year. I'm including nail file, clipper, nail brush, kid-friendly nail polish color, nail stickers, toe separators, and 3 pairs of fun Christmas socks.
Am I missing anything?

I can't add any advice about the items in the basket(sounds good to me) but I think it is terrific that you are so thoughtful to the step-daughter!

Re: Tween Christmas gift
Instead of using a traditional basket, I would get a plastic tub type thing that she can put her feet in, then maybe add a bath bomb so she can soak her feet in it! Actually this gave me a cute idea...I have a Silhouette Cameo machine...I could vinyl a tub up with the kid's name, then put a bunch of pedicure stuff in it! Cute gift!

Tween Christmas gift
I saw in Target recently they had Caboodles (like from the 90s!). My 11 niece wanted one really bad. Maybe put it all in there and she can always add stuff to it.

Sheet mask?
That's easy to pop in and add to the pampering basket.

Re: Tween Christmas gift
Masks are good, maybe one of those little fans to dry the nails.
I would also get regular nail polis, I don't know if the kid friendly would be too young for a 12yr. old. Or is that regular nail polish but it is non-toxic?? I was buying my niece regular zoya/essie ones on sail at that age.
But everything you have listed sounds sufficient and a great idea.

what i meant by kid-friendly nail polish... was a kid-friendly color. i got her a cute bubble gum pink that won't offend her mom.

That makes more sense. I though you were talking about the kid-friendly nail polishes for the kids who may pick or bite the nail polish off. lol
