TV's / Fireplaces
Please post pics of your flat screens about a fireplace ??? I want to get an electric FP for my living room and DH wants a flat screen - I just want to get ideas of how it would look ??
What do you store all the components in ?????

Re: TV's / Fireplaces
We have both a flat screen and a fireplace (real though, not electric). There is no way on this earth DH would mount his precious TV on a wall that is going to generate the kind of heat that comes out of a fireplace.

We have a flat panel over our fireplace (there are pics in my album under the downstairs section) and we had all the wires run through the wall when we redid our downstairs. All the components sit on a nightstand type table to the right of the fireplace.

Okay, question. If you have the wires run through the wall, what do you do when the TV breaks down or needs to be replaced? Just wondering--I would love to do something like this in time--I hate all the cords we have around the house.
