TV Vent
What is the deal with television shows going 2 or 3 minutes over the time. For example, American Idol tonight is 1hr and 2minutes and Lost is 1hr and 3minutes. I work nights and rely on my Tivo to record my shows but these greedy networks have to spite me and run their shows just a few minutes longer!!!!

i don't get it either, but it's annoying.
I first noticed it several years ago, with E.R. - It starts at 9:59 every week.

When you set up the shows that you want to record, you can set the start and stop times.

My TV vent is... there is nothing good on!
These olympics are f'ing up everything! All the regular NBC shows are put on hold for these two weeks.
A lot of the other channels are running repeats due to lack of competition.
And as far as sports goes... the Knicks **** so they aren't worth watching. The Rangers are on a three week break because of the olympics! And spring training is starting today... but preseason games and the WBC won't start airing till March!
Two weeks of BLAH TV! I don't know if I will be able to handle this!
