I want to start tutoring, but I'm not sure how to adverstise. Do you hang up flyers or business cards or do you place an ad somewhere?
TIA!!!

also a lot of my tutoring comes from word of mouth in the school. If you are a teacher, I would tell other teachers you are interested in tutoring. you would be surprised how many parents ask teachers for a tutor during the year. My friend and I have done this many times (you cant tutor your own kids the class)and I have gotten many jobs that way!!

you know some high schools like east meadow high school do ESL I wonder if they have any openings or know of any other school that does it. My aunt does it and loves it, its mon and wed nights from 6-9 I believe or 7-9 I have to find out. oh ESL is english second language that you would be teaching and you have an assistant too.
