Tuna fish?

Hi - only about 10 weeks & I'm forgetting from my first pregnancy what the deal is with tuna fish? I haven't had any since getting prego but am craving some for lunch today. Someone please remind me if I can have...thanks!

Re: Tuna fish?

I think the *rule* is 6oz/week. I usually limit it to 1 sandwich from the deli or 1 small can from home (which for me is actually 2 sandwiches).

I actually just ordered my lunch online and got my week's ration of tuna Chat Icon

Re: Tuna fish?

Yea I think the only risk with Tuna fish is that since its in a can you dont know where it came from or how long its been sitting there, so you dont really know what the mercury levels are... I dont necessarily think you cant have it... It depends on how you feel about it...

Just had it for lunch. I limit it to once a week. Same with cold cuts. Fresh cut and once a week.
