I lived on Zantac 150!! I was on prescription meds and they weren't working...

My Dr told me to take pepcid. It definitely helps more than tums when I remember to actually take it!

I took zantac but after a while they werent as effective. PEPCID has been a lifesaver these past few months.

I've been using pepcid as well. It's what my dr. suggested and definitely works better than tums.

When I was pregnant with my first DD, I had heartburn/GERD so bad that the docs actually put me on prescription Protonix - IT WAS A LIFESAVER!!!! Because Tums, Pepcid, Zantac 150 all were not even cutting it!! HTH!

I had stomach issues before I was pregnant so I was prescribed nexium which I have been taking and it seems to be helping but I am only 23 weeks. There have been a few days where I needed to take 2 tums and was fine. I have to talk to my gastro and find out if I can take anything else with the nexium to help as I get close to the end

I have a prescription for Nexium-- did with my last pregnancy too. Nothing OTC worked for me, and I really need to take it every day... Speak to your doc about it.
