tummy time
what to do if baby hates this?
head control is SO STRONG. has been since day one. hospital staff and ped are saying they see this control in like 4+ month olds. baby also sits up on own.. like reclines up and down. clearly he cant stay there forever but the movement is still there
what else does tummy time promote?

tummy time
As the mom of a LO who never crawled, I would say it's really important. DD was sitting unassisted and completely stable before 5 months and so I let her do it a lot. She never loved tummy time and while we did it a few times a day, I didn't do enough. DD never learned to crawl or get to sitting on her own and stopped rolling over. I didn't learn until after the fact that not crawling can actually lead to issues with reading and writing once they get to school age. Had I know that, I would have done a lot more tummy time! I also regret letting her spend time in positions (sitting and standing) that should couldn't get to on her own.
