Triggering tonight- ER Friday!
I have 5 follicles that range from 15-22. There were some smaller ones as well but RE didn't say the sizes so I assume they are under 10. Lining was 9.something. Wish I had more follicles but hoping for the best.
Triggering tonight at 10pm. BW tomorrow. Retrieval on Friday. So nervous! What should I expect? Any advice? Its going to be at Melville surgery center. It should be interesting taking off when the kids I teach start school next week. Fun sit down with my Principal in the near future where I will say I have medical issues.....not telling her about IF.
Wish me luck. It just takes 1 right?

Good luck! Yes, it just takes one!! You won't feel anything at the retrieval, as you'll be asleep. A little soreness afterward, but you'll be fine!!

I told my principal what was going on bc of the many a.m dr appts then having to take off for retrieval and transfer. I felt so much better telling her and both secretaries at our school have daughters going through it so they know exactly what goes on. I have a very supportive principal though.

Thats great you were able to tell them. My principal isn't warm and fuzzy. Luckily I go to 6 am monitoring sine February and haven't ever been late. I make sure I am out of there by 7. I took off 3 days for IF related stuff this year but we get 10 a year so I didn't need a note or anything. Luckily we are off tomorrow for the holiday so I won't have to take off for retrieval, just transfer. I was thinking of taking off the day after transfer too. Also if I told my principal about IVF she owuld prob have a heart attack since 7 people are already preg. Thats the last thing she wants is another pregnant person....ha. ttyl

Good luck with everything! I also told my principal what was going on because all of the doctor appointments and needing to come in a little late were not like me. Thankfully she's so supportive but I still feel guilty when I have to come in late/take off. Saying you have medical stuff going on will suffice. I hope your talk goes well! and lots of in your near future!
