Trigger shot.... Please explain
Did opk n i got a positive this am I went in for monitoring.. Have 2 follies one on each side. I got the call to inject trigger shot bw 9-10 pm n i have my iui set for 9 am tom I thought that once u get trigger shot you go in 36 hours later? Mayb im goin to ovulate earlier.. Just confused.. Can they tell by bloodwork n internal sonogram when i will ovulate? Also i have cramps .... i hope im not ovulating yet!

I honestly think each RE uses it differently. My Dr used Ovidrel- I thought the same thing about going in 36 hours after, but he gave me the injection the same day as IUI. He said it was being used more as a boost- 1 egg had released that day, one more was going to drop within an hour, and there were 1-2 more small follies that the Ovidrel would help "boost" to drop within a couple days.

Good luck-
I usually trigger at night between8-10. And then usually have IUI the next morning, and usually the following day
