Trigger/IUI
What day is"safe" to start testing? New Year's Day will be 10dpiui. Is that too soon?? I am on the fence since it could turn out to be a really happy New Year's Day or a depressing one. Do I wait till day 14?

for me the trigger was out by 10 but i would not test till 12dpiui

I got a BFP at 10dpiui/12dpt (trigger). It was very light, but it was there!

I tested positive at 10dpo in an IUI cycle. From experience though, I'd wait... Enjoy the holiday. You have no idea what the end result will be and it would be sad to remember NYE as the day you got bad news (JUST IN CASE). Also, while it's possible to get a bfp then, it still is quite early. I'd wait till 12dpo, if possible.
(says me, who tested positive this cycle at 4dpo5dt because I couldn't hold out any longer!!   )

I know it's soooooo hard to not test, but I would try not to test until 12dpiui the earliest

I am currently in my 2ww. I am 7dpiui. I am not going to test before going back to my RE on 1/2/13. My husband I are going away for New Years and I want to just try to relax & enjoy.

Trigger was always out of my system by 7-8dpiui. With my DD, I got my verrrrry faint BFP at 10dpiui. Since I can never hold out I say........test!!! Good luck!!

I would take a HPT around 7dpiui..........if its negative you know the trigger is out of your system so when you test for pregnancy later on you will know if its a true BFP or the trigger shot giving you the positive result.
