Tried Pumpkin Spice Latte for the first time...
and I'm wondering if it's me..because I really don't taste Pumpkin?
DH had bought Pumpkin Spice coffee from Shop and Stop over the weekend and I tried it but figured Starbucks would be better, but I don't taste the difference.
Is it me?

Like nutmeg and cinnamon and stuff.

Looooove the Pumpkin Spice Latte...but yes, you're totally right, doesn't really taste like pumpkin all that much.  I love pumpkin though, one of my favorite things about fall!

I was reading Glamour the other day and they had one of those "Instead of THIS, try THIS" things ........
Well, for the same fat/calories as a Grande Pumpkin Spice latte ........You can get a Grande cafe latte w/ 2% milk and cinimon (sp?) PLUS eat 2 mini candy bars and 14 candy corn ........and something else .........I can't remember -

yeah, i think its just regular coffee enhanced with mulling spices. I really like the caramel apple cider though!

I'm pregnant too..but I'm drinking it LOL! I think I expected to taste what I tasted when I sampled the syrup. It reminded me of Pumpkin Pie. After a few sips I started tasting the pumpkin spcie..but still not the pumpkin pie taste I expected.
Next time I'll just get the syrup.

I am pg and can't WAIT for a decaf one! They don't taste like pumpkin, but rather that sort of "pumpkin pie spice" flavor you get in pumpkin breads, pumpkin muffins, etc. I think pumpkin pie spice is a combo of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg (or is it cloves? not sure)... so that's what the flavor is.
Either way I LOVE THEM!

Yeah it really does not taste like pumpkin but I still  it!!!!!!!
I look foward to this time of year for many reasons including pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin flavored beverages.
