YES - I POSTED ON THE OTHER THREAD - THEY WERE ACTUALLY MORE THEN THE OTHER ESTIMATES I GOT BUT THEY DID TELL DH THEY WOULD MEET/BEAT ANYONES PRICES - AND THE GUY SAID HE WAS GOING TO CALL ME - HE HASNT YET - SO I DONT KNOW...

we planted 2 Bradford pears last year. They look beautiful when they bloom and they are sort of fast growers

I love dwarf ornamental fruit trees like cherry & pear. I also have a white dogwood I love. Agway in Riverhead has great prices on small tress you could plant yourself. Last year they had 5' foot flowering trees for $29

Oh! The house we bought has one on the corner...sadily you can't see it from the street...but I can see it from my bedroom window! I can't wait for it to start blooming!

Ditto on everyone else's suggestions. Keep the spring cleanup in mind too though. Cherries and Magnolias are gorgeous, and I love the way they look when the petals fall too. But I heard you have to leave the petals on the ground till they dry out to get them removed effectively. Not sure how true that is.
