Tree blocking lots of sun...torn on what to do
So we have this tree in front of our house (dont ask what kind, I have no clue!) that used to be on the smaller side. Well apparently it's growing really fast because it now blocls all the sun that the front of my house used to get. I purposely planted flowers that only need part-sun b/c I iknew from about 6 am- 1pm its gets good sun. But now with this tree having a growth spurt since last year the beds get nothing and now they're all dying! Not to mention the sun doesnt come pouring through my living room anymore which I absolutely loved too.
But it's such a healthy tree I would feel horrible taking down. But I really dont want it there anymore.
Trimming it is not an option for us. It's not easily accessable and it's very big.
Would we be horrible people to take it down? I know it's just one tree but I still feel so guilty about it and that's why Im so torn. Soooo....WWYD?

If it took away light away from my house then I would take it down and plant another one in a different location or a different type.

I'm not sure why you think it can't be trimmed, but if you are going to take it down, then I would buy another tree and make sure that it is a small tree and will stay smaller. Ask at a local nursery/garden center. Hard decision to make.

you can get it pruned and perhaps get some light paths put in. I would ask a tree pruner - we just had a tree service done by Dank Tree Experts.
