I have the Smooth Fitness treadmill and love it. It is a high tech commercial type treadmill for running. Mine was honestly pretty costly but I wanted to have it for years- unparalleled customer service and lifetime warranty/guarantee on parts and service.

We have the Horizon T500. We got it at ****'s for $600, half price, about a year ago.

I have a nordic track...if you are doing a lot of running on it, you need to get a wider belt and think about horsepower.
We paid ~$1000 5ish years ago...well worth it - we did it on a 0% sears card and paid it off before the year.

I bought a Nordic Track - A2350 from Sears - for DH (and me  ) this Christmas. He's really happy with it.
