Has anyone had any experience with them? Any problems? What is their cancellation policy? The room we want to book is available through them but not through the hotel directly. I have never booked through any travel sites before so I'm a little nervous. Thanks

Re: Travelocity

Large sites like Travelocity, Orbitz, Expedia, etc can offer very good deals at times. My only warning is to read the fine print of your agreement. It's usually what they *don't* tell you in their advertising that can adversely affect you.

Re: Travelocity

We had a very bad experience with Travelocity, I would go with another airline.

Their customer service is off-shore (as expected) but the agents are not knowledgeable.

Basically, we booked a flight months before a trip. The airline cancelled our flight and we were rebooked on a separate flight that gave us a horribly long layover. We looked at other flights and noticed that the same airline had other better flights. If it were the airline we dealt with, we most likely would have been able to change it easily but Travelocity kept on screwing up and booking us on different flights than what they wanted. And each time they said they'd call us back within 24 hours and no call back until we bothered them again.

Long winded answer but I'd stay away from them.
