Traveling with Twins! Help needed!
Hello, My husband and I are going to Florida with our 13 months old twins for the first time next month. We will be going for a week and need help on what we should/ should not pack. There is a Target/Walmart a few miles from the hotel. What do you suggest we bring on the plane? For the hotel stay? For the pool/beach? We are going to Sarasota (Northern Florida) so we hope it is not too hot/humid). Also, if anyone has ever been, where do you suggest going with the babies? Thank you for your help. Fingers crossed for a smooth plane ride!

For plane... Put them in overnight diapers incase you cant change them for a while Lots of snacks, movie, milk, water (you are allowed to have two water bottles per baby I believe), etc. Give them a drink when you take off ans land Don't forget plastic bags, wipes, purell wipes, change of clothes Beach... Sunscreen, hats, baby powder, swim diapers, floats for the babies so you don't hold them in the water the whole times, cheap beach toys you can get at the dollar store or even Walmart there so you can leave there too. Cheap blowup baby pool for them to sit in on the beach. Water shoes or crocks Take and toss sippy cups, lots of plastic bags for wet swimsuits, to keep snacks in, etc I'm sure the hotel will have cribs or PnP's for them. Take whatever they have in their crib too that they love. Big sunshade for the stroller if you can
Have fun! Like you said you can shop if you forget something.

Re: Traveling with Twins! Help needed!
- Someone recommended a cheap carseat from Walmart that was very light and made traveling with twins easier... wish I would have bookmarked the page! ha... but they said it was light enough to wheel on top of a suitcase...
- crib sheets -- if they have sensitive skin I'd rather put ours on the hotel cribs
- baby tylenol, motrin, benadryl, etc. with you on the plane
- I saw someone brilliant on pinterest pack all of the kids clothes in ziploc baggies - everything you need for each baby each day -- onesie, outfit, socks, headband, and diaper, so it was super easy to unpack at hotel each day and get ready
- ponchos! umbrella
- their favorite toys... and replace all batteries before u leave so u don't run the risk of favorite toy going dead on plane
- when we vacationed last year I overpacked SO much. It was ridiculous. You would have thought we were traveling to the Amazon with the quantity that I brought with us. That being said, if you have Walmart and Target nearby, don't bring anything that's not a necessity because you can truly run in and stock up there.... even on snacks, etc., and diapers, bring enough for a day and if you get stuck with plane or some sort of delay, but once you're settled in the hotel, run out and grab what you need for the week - Cheerios, etc., no sense schelping an entire box with you!

Wow! Thank you ladies for the response. Yes, Jen, we got the inexpensive Walmart car seats. We even got an inexpensive double stroller to travel with just in case the airport screws it up. I'm really paranoid about the plane ride. Do you suggest giving the twins Tylenol before we board?

Traveling with Twins! Help needed!
Bring more snacks/food than you think you would ever need for the flight! We were delayed with our 10 month old twins when we traveling with them and having that "emergency" food was clutch so we could feed them and give them a puff at a time to keep them entertained.
Also make sure you have stuff packed for you and your DH to each be able to handle a kid as I didn't really realize that we wouldn't be able to sit together in the same row (since it is 1 lap kid per row) and it was a bit of a PITA for me to be handing bottles back a row or to constantly be asking "oh do you have that in your bag?"
I don't think they would need tylenol or anything, just some food, beverages and some newish toys as a distraction.
Good luck!
